Justin Sturz is a professional musician from Greenville, North Carolina.  In addition to his work as a freelance pianist at East Carolina University in the Schools of Music and Theater/Dance, he plays for the Community Pops Singers of Greenville, as well as weddings, parties, receptions, competitions, audition/competition recordings, studio recitals, chamber recitals, and various other gigs throughout the southeast.  He is the organist/pianist at the First Baptist Church in Farmville, North Carolina.

Justin holds two undergraduate degrees, in English and Organ Performance, from East Carolina University.  Both degrees were earned Magna Cum Laude.  While earning his degree in music, Justin participated in two organ competitions.  He placed second in the Music Teachers’ National Association-Wurlitzer Collegiate Artist National Organ Competition (1993) and third in the National Undergraduate Organ Competition held annually at the First Presbyterian Church in Ottumwa, Iowa (1995).

The title of his first recording is “Justin Sturz Plays Inspirational Favorites” and is on CD and cassette.  His second recording is called “Justin Sturz Plays Songs of Faith” and is on CD .  Both are solo piano recordings.
